En Junio 2008 tuve que viajar a Alemania para un entrenamiento. Coincidió que el sábado que estuve ahí, Sonja y Michael Franz tuvieron su "fiesta de cubrir aguas". Esta es la traducción oficial de Richsfest. Es una fiesta que se organiza cuando ponen las vigas del techo de una casa en construcción. Nuestros amigos Sonja y Michael viven en Rodgau, donde nosotros vivimos por tres años. Ellos construyen desde hace un par de meses y probablemente terminen de construir su casa antes que nosotros. Nosotros construimos desde hace 6 años y todavía falta un poco de los terminados.

In June 2008 I had to travel to Germany for a training. It coincided that on the Saturday I was there, Sonja and Michael Franz had their "roof-ready" party. I didn't know how to translate Richtsfest. This is a party that people organize when they get the beams for the roof in the house they are building. Our friends Sonja and Michael live in Rodgau, where we used to live for 3 years. They are building since a couple months and they might even finish their building before we do. We are building our house since 6 years ago and we are still stuck with some of the finishing.

In Juni 2008 musste ich nach Deutschland reisen wegen einer Schulung. An dem Samstag wo ich da war, hatten Sonja und Michael Franz ihr Richtsfest. (Auf Deutsch brauche ich Richtsfest nicht erklären :-). Unsere freunde Sonja und Michael wohnen in Rodgau, wo wir 3 jahre gewohn haben. Sie bauen seit ein Paar Monaten und sie könnten sogar ihr Haus vor uns fertig machen. Wir bauen ja ein Haus seit 6 Jahren und wir versuchen noch die letzten Details fertig zu machen.
